The bigSMALL band is a nonet project I've been developing. The concept is to write original material and arrangements of music I love (from Monk to Pink Floyd) for five horns and a rhythm section. The horn section consists of world-class musicians playing alto/soprano, tenor and bari sax (doubling when necessary, or not), trumpet and trombone/euphonium. And the rhythm section utilizing piano, guitar, bass and drums.
